Professional Swedish is a course aimed towards  people with the aim or intent to work or study in Sweden. It is an intensive one semester course where the course material solely deals with various aspect of working life in Sweden.  Examples of themes discussed are  different kinds of employment, meeting practices,  attitude to work,  sick leave, gossip, work environment and cultural differences .    This course is an intermediate B1B2 mixed level and suitable    for those who has completed the beginner A2 levels according to  ACTFL.   

The students will learn: 
  • Vocabulary
  • Phrases and Idioms
  • Indirect speech 
  • Tense use
  • perfect participle and passive  form
  • Preposition and expressions expressing time

The entirety of the course Professional Swedish takes place over two semesters.  Winter  and Spring of 2026.  
The second semester will begin on April  9 and end on June 9.   Possible Make  up day on June 11.
