How course levels are structured


  • Beginner: A1- level.    The A1, Beginner level, consists of   3 or 4 semesters. It is divided into Beginner 1, 2, 3 and    possibly 4.   
  •  Advanced Beginner: A2-level.    The A2, Advanced Beginner level, last   3 or 4 semester. It is divided into Advanced Beginner 1, 2, 3,
    ​and possibly 4.
  • Intermediate: B1-level.   The B1 level last for 6 semesters. It is divided into Intermediate 1 (3 semesters) and Intermediate 2 (3 semesters) 
  • Professional Swedish : B1-B2 level last for 2 semesters. 
  • Intermediate: B2-level. The B2 level last for 5 semesters.   It is divided into Intermediate 3 (3 semesters),
    and then Advanced Intermediate (2 semesters) ​
  • Advanced Intermediate:   B2-C1 level. The C1 level lasts for 6 semesters.
